summer share

I’m facilitating a library engagement program for students this summer, with a little help from my friends at iREAD. Here’s the nitty gritty:

(This is my first stab at recording rather than writing a post. I’m not sure I prefer it.)

  1. That is great that you stay so connected with families over the summer! Some of our schools here do special things for kids who complete the public library’s summer reading club and at least one school librarian runs her own summer reading club over the summer, too. I love that our kids have many opportunities for reading to be promoted and I don’t see it as competition at all – we all have the same goal! Good luck with your program and do let us know how it goes!
